Been a while since I wrote anything mainly because I have been working on the my new system, which has rekindled my passion for helping people get rid of blockages so they can reach their human potential.

A key factor in reaching your human potential is getting the perfect balance of tension in your body. Tension must not be confused with restriction which is a totally different thing.

I like to think of tension like a tent… you have bendy poles inside the tent which gives it tensegrity. Always expanding outwardes.

However if one of the poles falls the tent will lose SHAPE and then more tension is created elsewhere in the tent.

So your probably sitting right now as you read this… think about what your sacrum/butt region is doing… it is relaxing into the chair right?

This relaxation if done for periods of time is bad news for the back, hips and pretty much the whole body.

However if you have too much tension in a part of the body then it cannot tense anymore enabling it to then relax and pump blood, oxygen and “happy hormones”, as the tibetans like to call them, into that area. It just stay tight, no movement and no pumping.

Its the tightrope we walk that needs to have some give but not too much.

anyway listen to the video and I give a simple exercise to improve the issue of over relaxation or collapse in your body.

you can also check out the short video of me interviewing a tibetan master medicine man about charisma and relaxation.

A few weeks ago I got an email from Optimized Man podcast listener Devin. This is what he wrote:

A lot of people suffer from poor posture i.e., “forward head posture”… especially those of us who spend hours in front of the computer for work etc. I think a great subject for the Optimized Man would be correcting poor posture-especially forward head posture, which afflicts so many otherwise healthy men. An outline plan (something measurable) to correct bad posture-especially with the neck- would help your readers look more confident and prevent future health problems.

Well podcast listeners, ask and you shall receive…

I instantly thought of Rob Brinded of Code of the Natural. I’d purchased Rob’s body language ebook in the past, and he’s trained with the best in the world in conditioning, holistic health, and movement science. And it’s the study of ‘movement’ that brings Rob here today because in this podcast episode we’re going to talk about fixing bad posture.

(Rob is the dude furthest to left at the bottom)

I feel like this was one of the better Optimized Man podcast episodes thus far. Some highlights include:

The best stretching exercises to correct poor posture associated with working at a computer all day.

Why sitting all day is making your ‘Fear muscle’ tight.

Why you need to relax your eyes (and why looking into wide-open spaces is good). Also, why the boss with the with a good view is healthier than you are.

How a tennis ball will forever change your life.

The infamous ‘yoga pants problem’.

How and why you need to use the Pomodoro technique to stay healthy and productive.

Why ‘faking it till you make it’ with your body language is making you look creepy.

Well the answer is yes and I´m not the only one saying it as you will see in the video. I have tried to explain the importance of the spine in how we walk. You will listen to Serge Gracovetsky talk about how the spine is actually the engine for our locomotion… and if your is twisted or restricted you will be giving off signals that may be killing your attraction. It is one of the 6 major factors for attraction but a very important one.

I show a great exercise to work on the part of the back that is heavily affected by our emotions especially fear. Clearing this point will show immediate results with your walk and how you attract women. It will also start to reprogram your fear response in your body… your body will have always responded to fear by a physical reaction stemming from this area… and this move will alter that reaction so they are more in line with your current beliefs about the world.

Hope you enjoy it and remember The Father of Modern Psychology, Sigmund Freud, said “Anatomy is destiny”.

I started using Rob’s products a few years ago and in about two weeks after following his exercises I could feel my body moving differently. It was basically better and more comfortable. This was from improved motion in my hips, which had been less than optimal (I now know) for much of my life. Not too long and this was my new normal. I actually noticed it most with Latin dancing (not often women say they wish their hips moved as well as mine or any other man’s). However, I still had issues with my abdominals. I didn’t fully realise this until I went through a month’s consultation with Rob. Once we realised that I needed to work this area and Rob found the right way to do it, I knew that my stomach too had not been working as well as it could for most of my life. This was also causing issues in other parts of my body. After using Rob’s insights again I know that my body movement will improve further. I am now looking forward to a further improved body and movement and getting used to the next new normal. In short, I now feel better, move better and look better from taking advantage of Rob’s expertise.

If you have never heard of this guy and you’ve worked out in a little in your life, you just don’t what you’re missing. I first heard about Rob through David DeAngelo, and it literally only took me a few hours to buy his material. I eagerly sucked in every bit of information Rob threw at me.

I never had heard anything like it at all and within minutes of the download there I was on my floor looking at Rob’s mug on my computer screen. In some videos you can hear sirens, traffic, and even a few birds.

But you know what…it would not have made a difference even if I was be forced hearing it through a tin can with a string attached…

His Code of The Natural is still a part of my daily life and I’m proud to say I was one of the first to buy it.

I’ve been working out my whole life to keep my body in shape. Yet until Rob I never felt all too secure with my movements or my ability to relax and just be.

Its called the 4 minute oil change and has the most effect, as with all bodywork, if it is done consistently. Take for instance my cats, they stretch after every single position that they have held for more than 10 minutes… which is why they are so flexible and agile. If you stretch everyday you will also get 8 extra lives

Anyways.. here is the routine combining 3d moves and yoga… Enjoy!

Oh and once you have done the routine you can try the more complex routine in the second video

(be advised it has some swearing… feed the pony:)

AS you may know I´m a big fan of the dog whisperer , not only is he amazing at training dogs but I think He does just as much if not more work on their owners and you can glean some real life lessons from his work.

Well, I received Buck Brannaman documentary for Christmas and what a gift it turned out to be. Buck tells the story of the original horse whisperer, Buck Brannaman, who has an almost Zen like approach to training or “un-training” horses and as you probably guessed it, from their owners.

I couldn´t help be amazed by his mastery with the animals but also the deep understanding of how humans behave and how we learn by either fear or positive motivation. As Robert Redford explains in the documentary “Buck had been seriously abused as a child but had understood that he didn´t have to follow that cycle of behaviour and treats horses with the deepest respect and kindness”.
Most people will unconsciously follow the same patterns of behaviour that they witnessed when they were children and never take that hard long look in the mirror to uncover them.

One of the scenes in the movie showed Buck Brannaman being brutally honest with a lady who owned her “killer” horse. (you will see her in the clip). He speaks his truth and helps her understand that the crazy behaviour of her horse is a reflection of what is going on inside of her… she breaks down and cries.
What struck me about that moment was that owning a stud is very hard for anyone to handle but this lady had eighteen on her ranch. “You should join the navy seals if you want that much excitement” he tells her… (paraphrased)…” why do you need so much drama in your life?, why not be happy?” This is profound because she had created that situation in her life unconsciously, in order to experience pain and drama. How many of us are doing that right now?

“Whatever results you’re getting, be they rich or poor, good or bad, positive or negative, always remember that your outer world is simply a reflection of your inner world. If things aren’t going well in your outer life, it’s because things aren’t going well in your inner life. It’s that simple.” T Harv Eker.

Tension In Your Body

A simple lesson from buck, about “soft feel” when holding the horses rope, turned out to be profound too. He very gently applied a pull to the rope a man was holding but then to show what most owner would do he tugged with tension. Well the result was the man tightened up ready for the stronger pull by Buck. Buck Brannaman explains “Within a few pulls you are now holding a constant tension ready for that uncomfortable pull!”

This is exactly how we absorb trauma in our own human bodies… we experience something we don´t like and then subtly and unconsciously armour ourselves by tightening, for the possible experience. This micro-holding then becomes who we are… and people read it unconsciously.
Well, there you go, a great documentary on horses but with so much more to offer on a self-development or spirit level.

If you get a chance to work with or ride horses I would highly recommend it for getting to know yourself and your mind. If you have a monkey mind so will the horse unless you get a wise one :p… then they will be kind and help you to calm down.

cheers Rob

I have been on an eternal quest to be the best I can be both physically and more importantly for me, mentally, as I have a monkey mind that doesn´t always do me favours. When things are going well it will look for what must be wrong and when things aren´t going so smoothly… well I can fluctuate between total annoyance with myself and hopelessness.

I have tried many different methods to improve this and for sure I have made leaps and bounds in self-confidence and the way my brain works but I have always had a nagging feeling somewhere in my the deepest cobwebbed crevices of the mind that something was missing in the happy and solid mood part of my grey matter.
Well I have some good news about this quest of mine… I believe (tentatively of course) that I have had a pretty massive breakthrough in this area of my life.

I may have to give some credit to afformations for helping me find it. Afformations are different to affirmations as they are more believable … when you say “I am rich” and you’re not the subconscious usually murmurs “err you’re not fool!” so there is an internal block to that thought ever embedding itself. With Afformations you ask a question instead of a statement and your brains Google search button goes off looking for an answer.

So about 3 weeks ago I started asking the question “why do I have so much energy” and “why am I so healthy” and then I came across a nutritional therapy called RBTI that I hadn´t heard of before on Matt Stone´s blog. You guessed it, RBTI stands for Reams Biological Theory of Ionization, this catchy name describes the work of Dr Carey Reams work in the field, quite literally, in soil… also animals and thankfully, humans too.
I´m not going to go into the details of the diet here but let’s just say it is very powerful and I have had some amazing changes happen already with my body. My clients are experiencing some crazy results too like weight loss, disappearance of pain after a couple of days, better sleep, and better skin and over all better energy.
ENERGY…
And this is where I have had a paradigm shift in my perspective on health, confidence, attraction, procrastination, anxiety and worry etc. etc…

I now see how crucial your overall energy level (metabolism or amount of minerals you have inside you) is to how you experience your life.

Check out this article on metabolism on Matt Stone´s blog and see where you fit on the metabolism scale. If you look at the top spot does it remind you of anyone? For me it’s the people that tell people “hey just do it!” or “get up and get in the face of life and take what’s your”… they have unyielding self-confidence and are natural in all areas of life from being social to being the best athlete in school.

(they usually have a 6 pack too and tell you to do crunches which dont work for most people… and that they have never done because they have always had a 6 pack.)

They simply have enough energy to run their bodily system maximally and have much of it in reserve. They do not suffer from procrastination because it doesn’t exist in their world they just do things because they have enough energy.

Procrastination

In my opinion procrastination comes from a lack of energy… your body unconsciously takes the decision to avoid more work because it’s already shagged.

Therefore if that is the case for procrastination won´t it be the same for self-confidence- simply a lack of energy reserve? The correct biochemical window for extracting enough minerals to run your hormonal system is low so you feel weak and anxious… I am starting to think so.

And don´t get me started about pain in the body… now I know biomechanics is huge in this area but I have been clearing pain up in clients in a couple of days by tweaking some things in their diet.
I am going to interview Matt this week and I´ll let you know about that.
In the mean time I am going to chat on camera about this huge piece of the feel great puzzle.

From my experience of being around latin guys here in spain… I can clearly see that they are extremely good with attracting women.
They have (in general) very low tone and have a certain attitude with women that the ladies go crazy over.
One guy told my girlfriend the other day as she walked past him…. ¨may god bless you¨in spanish as a way of saying she was hot lol…

Why do they have less issues in their tissues?

1 reason may be their culture of dancing and listening constantly to rythmical music… they are born to dance and it is normal practice for a man to boogey.
On the other end of the scale you have your english guy who knows how to consume 10 pints of lager and fight… and thinks dancing is gay.

Maybe all that us less- latin type guys need to do is grow our hair out a bit… and dab on a little tan? hmmm….

So I was very interested when I heard about a course created by Esteban Lara on how to attract and seduce Latin women… his course helps you understand the cultural differences between latin and western cultures and what it is exactly that turns latin women on …
