I watched this documentary last night about Rickson Gracie the great Brazilian MMA fighter. What struck Me was his amazing training routine combining strength, flexibility, breathing and meditation. He does it All bare foot and usually in nature.

“Control the breath to understand your fears and your emotional state”

If you watch the full documentary he talks a lot about energy and how becoming one with your body is how to ‘workout’ or stay strong and healthy. It made me laugh when he takes a dip in a freezing river in Japan… ” It clears my mind”… I totally relate to this feeling and also try and get into the sea daily.:)

He is an exceptional athlete and man.
